F5Weather Forecasts is a custom-built weather forecast app designed to do one thing — and do it well: provide the most accurate forecast possible.



We don’t try to overwhelm you with radar, maps, or flashy graphics. Plenty of other apps already do that. Our focus is on delivering high-quality, data-driven forecasts that you won’t find anywhere else.


Our parent company, Convective Development, Inc., has over 25 years of experience providing raw weather model data to meteorologists and storm chasers. We have direct access to the world’s leading computer weather models — developed by organizations and governments across the globe.


Each model has its own strengths, weaknesses, and biases depending on the situation, region, and timeframe. A big part of meteorology involves interpreting these models — understanding their nuances and applying local expertise to refine the forecast. That’s where our experience comes in.


We combine decades of data expertise with modern computing to interpret and optimize raw model guidance for public use.



Our forecasts are not copied from government sources, APIs, or other weather vendors. They are 100% unique — created by us, for you.


We don’t rely on a single model or simple averages. We incorporate data from many models worldwide, evaluate their performance for your location and forecast period, and discard outliers or erroneous data.


In short, we let the science and statistics guide the forecast — not hype or social media trends. You won’t see us predicting a major snowstorm just because one rogue model says so.


Forecasting will never be perfect — but we’re committed to continuous improvement.
