Fair Price Detector

Never overpay abroad. On your travels, point your iPhone at anything you might buy — street food, souvenirs, market stalls, taxis, tuk-tuks, tickets — and Fair Price Detector shows what locals usually pay.

Add the price they're asking and get a clear verdict: Fair price, A bit high or Overpriced. Spot the tourist markup before you pay, then haggle like a local with a quick tip and a polite counteroffer the app can say out loud for you.

Point, tap, done
• Point at an item, dish, menu or price tag and tap.
• See the typical price and the usual range, in the local currency and in your home currency.
• Type or say the price they ask. A price on the tag or menu is read for you.
• Every answer shows where it comes from (AI estimate, traveler reports or the official website) and how confident it is.

Haggle like a local
• A haggle tip for that item, in that place.
• A polite counteroffer in the local language, with its pronunciation and translation. Tap Say it for me and Fair Price says it out loud.

Fair fares before you ride
• In Rides, pick a taxi (or a tuk-tuk or motorbike where they run) and where you're going, from here or any pickup. No photo needed.
• See what locals pay for that ride and how to agree the fare before you get in.
• Snap a taxi or tuk-tuk to see a fair price per km.

Sights at their real price
• The Attractions map shows temples, museums, castles, viewpoints, zoos and more around you.
• Official ticket prices are read from each sight's own website, with an AI estimate when the site lists none. Ignore the touts at the gate.

History and sharing
• Every check is saved in History with its photo, on your iPhone, so you can compare prices as you travel.
• Share or save a card with the verdict and the usual price.
• What did you pay? Share it anonymously to make the next check more accurate for travelers nearby.
• Optional Sign in with Apple or Google keeps your account after reinstalling or on a new iPhone.

Fair Price Pro
• Without Pro you get a few price checks every day, plus the Attractions map and History.
• Pro adds unlimited price checks every day (a fair-use limit applies), fair taxi, tuk-tuk and motorbike fares in Rides, and official ticket prices for sights.
• Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. There is no trial.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings. Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.

Good to know
• Prices are estimates and typical ranges, not guarantees. Official ticket prices come from the attraction's own website.
• Price checks need an internet connection. Your location finds the place you're at and sights nearby; your exact location stays on your iPhone. No face recognition.
