Description

The app allows you to get to places and views that are hard to get to. The lake is not only at the centre of the historic Lytham St Anne’s, but also the estuary to the Irish Sea and the River Ribble. The two RSPB wildlife reserves of Heathketh Out Marsh and Mashside are just visible from the new sea defences that surround the lake. They are over one hour's drive away however this app allows you to get there in an instant. Take a Spitfire ride from the lake and discover the source of the river Ribble at the famous rail crossing at Ribblehead viaduct.

This app using custom drone photography with interactive 360-degree twirls allows you to explore all of this.

The app is linked to 13 site panels that surround the lake and offer an ideal companion for this tour. You will get more high-level views with interactive hotspots that make the historic landscape and wildlife, come alive.

Start at the new Visitor Centre and get live link CCTV views together with a widescreen taster of the app.

Don't forget to find the hidden Oystercatcher in each 360-degree twirl!
