FastingNation is an intermittent fasting app for iPhone. Unlike a simple timer, it estimates which metabolic phase your body is in while you fast, using your own fasting history.

HOW METABOLIC TRACKING WORKS The app tracks 6 metabolic phases during a fast (from fed state to deep ketosis and autophagy), with a ketone (BHB) and glucose estimate based on elapsed time and your history. These are physiological estimates, not real blood measurements: they don't replace clinical testing.

AI FOOD ANALYSIS Snap a photo of your food and the AI estimates ingredients, calories, and macros. You review and correct the result before saving it: the app never saves a value without your confirmation.

AI COACH Talk to the coach about your fast, your food, and your progress. The conversation is saved to your account, available even if you switch phones, and exportable anytime. It can also look up your body measurements and adjust them if you ask it to. Included in FastingNation Pro.

BODY & PROGRESS Track your weight and body composition. The guided Body Check-In uses the camera to detect your pose and measure your progress with before/after comparison photos. Includes 38 achievements to keep you motivated.

SHARE PROGRESS Invite someone, like your coach or a friend, to see your progress in read-only mode: Body Check-In photos, food, hydration, and weight. You choose who to invite and can revoke access anytime.

HYDRATION & HABITS Over 100 loggable beverages, with recommendations based on your current fasting phase, daily streaks, and experience levels.

CYCLE & HEALTH Menstrual cycle tracking integrates with your fasting plan. You can log medical conditions to get compatibility alerts for your fasting protocol.

APPLE WATCH Real-time sync of heart rate, heart rate variability, activity, and your ongoing fast, right on your wrist.

ON-DEVICE LEARNING Starting with your 30th fast, the app trains a model on your own iPhone using your history: it learns your habits and personalizes predictions. That model is generated and stays on your device.

PRIVACY Your Apple Health data is processed exclusively through Apple's framework and never leaves your iPhone to our servers. You can export all your data as CSV or JSON anytime, and deleting your account truly erases your information from our servers.

5 FASTING PLANS From 12:12 to get started, through the classic 16:8, up to advanced OMAD (one meal a day). Each plan targets specific metabolic phases.

PLANS The app is free to start, with no ads, and core fasting, food, and body features available without paying. FastingNation Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks the AI coach and advanced analytics. Available in 89 languages.
