Why intermittent fasting?
Lose weight When you fast, you give your body time to digest, burn excess energy and eventually additional fat, which leads to weight loss. However intermittent fasting is not a magic pill to weight loss. Intermittent fasting is a long term lifestyle, which can be a habit and weight loss is one of its outcomes. Just doing intermittent fasting for the sole purpose of weight loss might end up being a disappointment if this does not end up becoming a habit and just a temporary change just to lose weight.
Health and vitality Intermittent fasting basically goes by the theory of giving your body enough rest between meals to recuperate and recover. During this time of extended fasting, there is no spike in blood sugar levels and your body is able to build better resistance to inflammation and other diseases. Long term fasting habits have been proven to improve overall health and vitality.
