Plotrace turns your phone into a land measuring tool. Walk the boundary of a field and let GPS trace it, or tap the corners on a satellite map — either way you get the area and perimeter in seconds.

Built for farmers, landowners, surveyors, estate agents, contractors and anyone who needs a quick, defensible record of a piece of land.

MEASURE YOUR WAY
• Walk mode — carry your phone around the boundary and the path is recorded as you go
• Tap mode — place corners by hand on high-resolution satellite imagery
• Distance mode — measure a fence line, a track or a pipeline run
• Circle mode — set a centre and a radius
• Cut-outs — draw a pond, a building or a rocky patch inside a plot and its area is subtracted from the total

UNITS THAT SUIT YOU
Acre, hectare, bigha, guntha, cent, kanal, marla, square metre and square foot. Distance in metre, kilometre, foot, yard, mile, chain and furlong. Pick your defaults once and every screen follows, with two more units always shown alongside.

WORKS WHERE YOU WORK
GPS needs no signal bars. Measure in a field with no data connection and everything syncs the moment you are back online. Open the map over your land once before you set out and the imagery is ready when you arrive.

Group measurements into a project and share it with a join code. Give each person the right level of access: a Viewer opens and exports, a Surveyor adds their own measurements, an Editor changes boundaries, notes and sharing. Everyone is notified when the project changes.

Sign in with Apple, Google or email and your measurements, photos and projects are waiting on any device you use.

FIELD TOOLS
A compass, a coordinate converter, and area and distance converters, for the moments between measurements.

A NOTE ON ACCURACY
Plotrace measures with the GPS in your phone. In open ground that is typically accurate to within a few metres; trees, buildings and heavy cloud widen that. It is built for planning, quoting and record keeping — a legal boundary still needs a licensed surveyor.

Plotrace is free to measure with. Pro removes the limits and unlocks unlimited saved measurements, projects and team sharing, and every export format.

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel any time in Settings, or from your Apple ID subscription settings.
