Find & Place Studs

Find & Place Studs uses your iPhone's magnetometer to show magnetic changes that may indicate screws, nails, pipes, or other metal in a wall.

HOW IT WORKS
• Hold your iPhone in open air, away from metal, while the app calibrates.
• Move the phone slowly across the wall.
• Watch the magnetic signal and adjust sensitivity when needed.
• A confirmed magnetic rise shows “Likely fastener.”
• Use Camera marks to place optional, session-only pins on the wall.

3 FREE ACTIONS TOTAL
Get 3 successful finds or camera placements combined. This shared allowance applies across both modes and is saved across app launches. Failed pin placements do not count. After your third action, scanning and placing pins require Pro. Dismissing an offer does not restore free access.

PRO
Pro unlocks unlimited scanning and camera pins. Choose a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. After declining the standard offer, an assigned discounted lifetime offer may be available. Localized prices appear before purchase. Purchases and Restore Purchases use Apple's StoreKit. Only a verified purchase or restore unlocks access.

IMPORTANT SAFETY
Use this app as one clue, not as drilling clearance. It cannot see wood studs, wiring, or water lines and cannot prove a safe drilling location. Confirm with appropriate tools and avoid drilling when uncertain.

PRIVACY
Magnetometer readings and camera imagery are processed on device. Superwall loads remote offers using app and device information, a pseudonymous installation identifier, and verified purchase status. Optional usage event collection is off unless you allow it. Sensor readings, images, and pin coordinates are never sent. See our privacy policy.
