First Bank Romania

The First Bank mobile banking app helps you to have control of your money anywhere and anytime.
You can open a new account directly from the app, without any trips to the bank.


What can you do with it?
You have quick access to your First Bank accounts. You can check your balances and easily make transfers between them.

You can add money to your account instantly through the Top Up option and are always in control with push alerts.

You can make quick transfers to friends or loved ones with just a few gestures, and for a simpler process you have the option to save and customize your regular payments.

You can enroll your card in Apple Pay, Fit Bit Pay, or Garmin Pay.

You pay your bills quickly by scanning the barcode, or by selecting the provider directly from the app. You can easily confirm the payment by fingerprint or face ID.

Paying taxes, road vignette, or bridge tax is no longer a problem. You can solve them all from the First Bank application in the dedicated section (powered by ghișeul.ro).

You save with every card payment through Pay and Save. Every time you make a payment with your card you can round the amount paid and the difference will be automatically sent to a savings account.

You authorize more secure and simpler online payments, 3D Secure, directly from the application with fingerprint or Face ID.
You can save new beneficiaries for future payments directly from the transaction history.
You can send your transaction report directly by email.
Now you can also close your deposits from the mobile app.
You can easily save new beneficiaries with the option "Update existing beneficiary" or "Save new beneficiary", or by swiping directly from the transaction history in the mobile application.
Now you can put nicknames for accounts saved under a beneficiary (PF / PJ).
For transfers between your own accounts, you can add payment details (PJ).
International transfers also have a payment order number now (PJ).
The payment method by account number and swift code is easier.
You can change the phone number for SMS OTP and reset the static password to the default value for 3D Secure by accessing the card settings in the app.
You can block or grant access to e-commerce transactions through the app, for debit and credit cards owned.
You can close current and savings accounts directly from the app.
You can issue new debit cards directly from the app.
You can change the main current account attached to your debit card.
You can issue and manage virtual cards from the application
You can view the card details more easily – card number, expiry date and CVV2.

You can more easily keep up to date with new banking products and offers, directly from the application.

You can activate the notification alert regarding the expiry RO vignette's validity period, directly from the application.

You can easily view the list of merchants authorized for automatic recurring payment with the card (recurring debits, online purchases, online monthly subscriptions, etc.) through the new functionality, unique in Romania - Subscription list.

We have new features in development so it's good to have the application always up to date.

The application is available in both Romanian and English.
