FirstTen

Your child’s universe revolves around you for about ten years. FirstTen helps you make the most of them, one ordinary day at a time.

ONE THING TO DO TOGETHER, EVERY DAY
A single activity picked for your child’s age, the season and the day of the week. Fifteen minutes or an afternoon. Swap it if the weather or the mood says otherwise, or log what you did instead and save your own favourites. Over a hundred and fifty ideas, from tummy time to planning a micro-adventure at nine.

HOURS OUTSIDE, COUNTED HONESTLY
Set a daily outdoor goal and tap Start when you are out. If you set a home location, FirstTen notices when you leave and asks whether to start the clock. It never starts on its own, so a drive to the shops does not count. See your week, your streak and your pace towards a thousand hours a year.

THE BABY DAYS, MADE EASIER
While your child is small, Today keeps a baby log close: feeds with a breast timer that remembers the side, bottles, solids, nappies, sleep, tummy time, pumping, growth, medicine and temperature. See when the last feed was at a glance, at 3am.

LEAPS, EXPLAINED
Ten stretches of big brain growth in the first twenty months, counted from the due date. What is changing, what you might notice, and simple things to try. A guide, not a schedule.

TWO OF YOU, ONE LOG
Invite your partner, a grandparent or a carer. You both see and log the same children, and every log says who added it. End-to-end encrypted, so only your family’s phones can read it.

A MEMORY BOOK OF 522 WEEKS
One dot for every week of the first ten years. Fill today’s with a photo, a sentence or a milestone. On this day, a year ago, is waiting for you.

WORTH LEAVING THE HOUSE FOR
Places, classes, events and days out near you, chosen by a local parent who knows the area. Partner listings are always labelled. They keep FirstTen free.

YOUR WEEK, IN ONE SCREEN
Every Sunday evening: hours outside, days together, what you did, what you kept. Share it or just read it.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. Names, photos, memories and your home location stay on your phone. Share with your partner if you like: everything is end-to-end encrypted, so only your family’s phones can read it. Export everything as a file, or delete it all, whenever you like.

FirstTen is free, and always will be. No paywalls and no ads in the feed. If you love it, you can support FirstTen with a one-off thank-you or a yearly supporter subscription; nothing is ever locked.
