Description by FEZANUR BASKESEN(from the App Store)
Point your camera at a fish. Fishlore names the species on your iPhone, then shows you the rule before you decide whether to keep it.
IDENTIFIED ON YOUR PHONE
The photo never leaves your device. Frame the fish side-on, take the shot, and Fishlore finds it in the picture, straightens it, and matches it against a catalogue of more than 800 species — no signal, no account, nothing to sign up for.
When the match is confident you get one species card. When it is not, you get the three closest species side by side with the marks that tell them apart, so the call is made from the fish in your hands and not by a guess on a screen.
THE RULE, WITH ITS SOURCE
For United Kingdom waters Fishlore carries the rules an angler actually needs: minimum size, closed season and daily bag limit, across the national sea rules and England's freshwater byelaws.
Enter the length and Fishlore tells you whether the fish is inside or outside the rule, and exactly which condition it fails. Every rule shows the GOV.UK page it was read from and the date it was last checked, one tap away. Rules refresh in the background, so a change in the law never waits for an app update.
YOUR CATCH LOG
Log each fish as kept or released with its photo and its length. Fish you keep today count towards that species' daily bag limit automatically. The log lives on this iPhone — no account, no upload, no cloud.
OUTSIDE THE UK
Identification works anywhere in the world, weighted by which species are actually recorded in your region. Legal limits currently cover the United Kingdom only, and Fishlore says so plainly rather than showing you another country's law.
EIGHT LANGUAGES
English, Türkçe, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Português and Svenska. Settings changes the whole app at once.
FISHLORE NEVER DECIDES FOR YOU
It states the rule and your measurement. Keeping or returning a fish is your call, and the official source is always one tap away. Check it before you keep anything.
FISHLORE PRO
Three identifications a day are free, with the species card, the look-alikes and the catch log. Fishlore Pro makes identification unlimited and shows the numbers behind every rule — minimum size, closed season and daily bag limit — and the keep-or-release check. Weekly or yearly, with three days free on the yearly plan; the price is shown in the app before you buy. Payment is taken by your Apple Account, a subscription renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can manage or cancel it in your Account settings.
