FlipMatic: Flip Clock & Board

FlipMatic turns your iPhone, iPad or Mac into a flip clock, the kind that once clattered on airport departure boards and in old train stations. Every minute, the flaps turn over one by one.

A CLOCK THAT FILLS THE SCREEN
• Big, clear digits that fill any screen, upright or sideways
• 12- or 24-hour time, optional seconds, and the date on its own strip
• Burn-in protection: a slow drift, night dimming and idle dimming
• Keep the screen awake while the clock is showing

THE BOARD
• Every few minutes the clock turns into a message board
• Put your own words on it, or let it show built-in phrases
• FlipMatic speaks 43 languages, on the menus and on the board itself

REMINDERS AND A TIMER
• Reminders flip onto the board at the time you choose, with a soft chime: every day, on weekdays, on the days you pick, or just once
• When FlipMatic is in the background, reminders arrive as notifications, and can ring through Focus if you allow it
• A countdown timer on the clock's own flaps, from 1 to 99 minutes

THEMES
• Eight built-in looks: Classic, Paper, Vintage, Amber, Green, Pink, Rose and Blue
• More themes for free at flipmatic.app, from cherry blossoms to comic books to a Halloween graveyard, added to your library with a free account
• Mark favorites and let FlipMatic rotate them for you

WEATHER
• Optional: the local temperature on the strip, from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway)
• Type a city, or let FlipMatic use your location, only while Weather is on

MADE TO BE LEFT ON
• No ads, and no account needed for the clock, the board, reminders or the timer
• Pseudonymous usage statistics (a random ID, no name, email or location) help us improve FlipMatic. Switch them off in Settings at any time
