Focus Lock: Charge App Blocker

You pick up your phone to check the time.
Somehow, 40 minutes of Instagram later, you're still on the couch.

Sound familiar?

Focus Lock breaks that loop — automatically.

HOW IT WORKS

The moment you plug in your charger, Focus Lock locks the apps that waste your time. No willpower needed. The trigger does it for you.

Want back in? Solve a quick math challenge first. Your brain has to actually engage before you can scroll again.

That's it. Simple. Surprisingly powerful.

THREE WAYS TO LOCK

Charging Lock — Plug in and apps lock automatically. Most people charge 2–3 hours a day. That's 2–3 hours you could be present.

Low Battery Lock — Battery below 30%? Instead of doomscrolling on your last 10%, Focus Lock locks distractions automatically.

Manual Focus Sessions — Start a 15-min, 30-min, or 1-hour session anytime. Lock your apps, set your timer, get to work.

WAYS TO UNLOCK

Every other app lets you tap "ignore" and keep scrolling. Focus Lock doesn't.

Solve to unlock — a quick math challenge in Easy, Medium, or Hard. Easy ones take 5 seconds. Hard ones make you think. That tiny bit of friction is enough to break the reflex — and ask yourself if you actually want to open that app.

Walk to unlock — don't want to think, want to move? Earn your way back in with steps instead, from as few as 10 up to 5,000. On by default, and it works even from your pocket.

Strict Mode removes the give-up button on challenges entirely — solve it or stay locked.

Most of the time, you won't even want to.

BATTERY CARE

Focus Lock also pays attention to what it's plugged into. See how healthy your daily charging habits look, and get a nudge the moment it's actually fine to unplug — usually around 80%.

FOCUS INSIGHTS

Focus Lock tracks your own focus sessions, locally on your device, and turns them into something useful.

"You've locked in 3 times today — above your weekly average."
"Most sessions start after 9PM. Worth a bedtime nudge?"
"Best focus day this week: Thursday. Keep it up."

Friendly nudges, not guilt trips. You decide what to do with the information.
