FocusVow - Focus & Lock Apps

Focus with a buddy. Lianzuo in effect—if one quits early, both fail.

FocusVow is built for duo accountability: two people make a focus pact, block distracting apps together, and share the outcome. If either person breaks the pact before time is up, both sessions count as failed. It’s not another solo pomodoro—it’s social pressure turned into focus.

【Good fit if you…】
• Keep reaching for short videos while studying or prepping for exams
• Want a roommate, classmate, or coworker to hold you accountable
• Tried pomodoro apps but still break focus at the critical moment
• Need system-level blocking, not just a reminder to “stop scrolling”

【Core features】
• Lianzuo (linked accountability): duo pact, shared lock; one quits, both fail
• System app blocking during scheduled focus sessions
• Start solo, then invite a buddy for duo mode
• Shareable result cards for your focus streak (success can work as a focus proof)
• Timer, session history, and focus stats

【How we’re different】
Most apps help you plan time and build habits. FocusVow adds enforcement plus lianzuo—real cost when you or your buddy quits early. Many people pair a pomodoro app for daily rhythm with FocusVow for high-stakes focus blocks.
