follow light: Memory Album

Your memories stay yours.

follow light does not upload any photos or videos and has no developer backend. New random picks are generated entirely on your iPhone using its local random algorithm. Your library is not sent to us for analysis, sorting or recommendations.

If an original is stored only in your own iCloud Photos, Apple Photos downloads it directly using your internet connection when needed. Purchases and restoration are handled by Apple’s App Store. Apple Photos and iCloud continue to follow your system settings.

Rediscover the moments already in your Photos library.

follow light brings you one photo or video at a time. Swipe up to meet another memory, swipe down to return to one you just saw, and open the capture date to explore more from that day.

A few simple gestures
• Swipe right to save a favorite.
• Swipe left to add an item to a review queue. The original stays in Photos until you confirm deletion through iOS.
• Pinch photos or videos to zoom, then drag to explore the details. Return to the original scale to resume swiping between items.
• Swipe down on a toolbar to hide the controls with gentle haptic feedback; tap the media to bring them back. Video controls also hide automatically during playback.
• Play videos and Live Photos, with video seeking and playback speeds of 1×, 1.5×, and 2×.

Your library, your choice
Grant access to selected photos or your full library. Full access enables two-way favorites sync with the regular Photos album named “随光喜欢”. This album references your originals and is separate from the system heart in Photos.

A demo album is included, so you can explore the app before granting Photos access. Some demo videos are generated still-image loops.

Designed for iPhone with iOS 26 or later. Free to download. Start a 7-day free trial through the App Store to use your own photo library, then make a one-time in-app purchase for permanent access. The trial does not automatically charge you or renew. You can keep exploring the demo album without purchasing. Restore purchases on the same Apple Account. No account registration, ads, or recurring subscription. Photos and videos stored only in iCloud may need a network connection and time to download. Apple Photos and iCloud remain subject to your system settings.
