OFFLINE PIP MATH, LIVE RATES
Every pair spec — pip size, lot size, decimal places — ships inside the app, so P&L, risk size and margin are computed entirely on-device. Pick USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CHF, AUD, CAD or NZD as your account currency and live mid-rates from a public quote feed (refreshed on launch and on resume, no more often than every 10 minutes because that's how often the upstream feed itself updates) handle the conversion. The last snapshot stays cached, and if no rate path is available the calculator transparently falls back to the pair's quote currency so you always see a number.
BROKER SPECS
Pip size, lot size and pip value follow the standard MT4 / MT5 / cTrader conventions used by most retail brokers (1 lot = 100,000 base for FX, 100 oz for gold, 1 unit for BTC/ETH/LTC/XRP). Always cross-check the values against your broker's own contract specs — especially for crypto and exotic FX, where some brokers use different lot definitions.
