Fossil Coin: Meter Collector

Parking meters are going extinct. Mechanical dials from the 1950s, coin-operated models from the Cold War era, Soviet-built units with Cyrillic markings - each one is a fossil of urban life, and they are disappearing every year.

Fossil Coin is a field catalog for parking meter enthusiasts, urban explorers, and anyone who notices these vanishing machines. Photograph a meter, tag its era and type, log its location, and track whether it is still standing or gone forever.
