Fotune: Album Search

Fotune finds albums, not just photos.
Type what you remember — a place, a year, the people you were with, part of an album name — all at once, like “Jeju 2024 Mom”, and the matching albums show up.

ALBUM SEARCH
• One search box for album names, places, years and people
• Tolerates typos and spacing, and understands Korean initial consonants
• Every result shows why it matched — place, person or year

BROWSE BY PLACE, DATE AND PEOPLE
• Places: pins on a map plus a list of place names, sorted out automatically from your photos’ locations
• Dates: pick a year › month › day to see the albums from that time
• People: every person you added to an album, with all the albums they’re in

ALBUM INFO
• Add the people you were with and places to an album, and find it by those names too
• Add places from the city data on your device or by map search — or type one in as you like
• Album tags, groups of people, and copying a shared album into a regular album

GALLERY AND PHOTOS
• See an album’s photos in a grid, then zoom, swipe and view photo info one by one
• Play videos and Live Photos, with Picture in Picture
• Edit brightness and rotation (and trim videos) — you can always revert to the original
• Pick photos grouped by day and sort them with Good, Okay and Not great flags
• Share a photo, a selection or a whole album with the iOS share sheet

STAY ORGANIZED
• A Favorites tab for albums and photos
• Hide albums — hidden albums appear only in a place locked with Face ID
• Find photos that aren’t in any album and add them to one
• Rename albums, and filter to shared albums or your own

YOUR PHOTOS STAY ON YOUR DEVICE
• The index is built on this device only. The app never sends your photos off your device on its own
• Album info such as people and places moves to a new device through your own iCloud (when iCloud Photos is on)

Fotune follows your albums in the Photos app. Because it searches by album, it needs Full Access to your photo library.
Fotune is free and shows ads between list rows.
