Coach Companion Tools & Content
While every goalie should strive to be their own best goalie coach, the goaltending coach plays an essential development role. Coaches can utilize FTC’s companion nature to revolutionize their coaching and, most importantly, drive student growth and performance to new levels. This starts with building a goalie roster, which leads to optimized training sessions. Communication, feedback, and sharing development activities are central to this process. With shared progress and performance trends, coaches can pinpoint development needs. Then, leverage the FTC’s key-point displays, pro demos, and instant feedback mechanism to enhance the training environment.
TRENDkeeper™ is FTC’s proprietary game-tracking tool that helps goalies and coaches make sense of in-game performance. It goes beyond basic stats by tracking goals against metrics that reveal the areas requiring focus. Whether it’s lateral plays, rebounds, low blocker, net-front scrambles, or any of the remaining 25+ metrics, TK™ identifies the exact scenarios and breakdowns. The data visualizes habits and vulnerabilities over time to troubleshoot game activity. Once identified, goalies and coaches can connect trends directly to the FTC library of curated lessons and activities. You stop guessing and start targeting - instantly start working on the areas that matter most. We transform game outcomes into actionable insights and provide the functional tools to correct weaknesses, reinforce strengths, and elevate performance.
