GIP VISION

GIP VISION is an augmented reality tool for construction sites.
The app helps bring BIM/IFC models into real space, check design decisions before installation, and explain site tasks faster. Site managers, engineers, crews, and clients can see the project model directly on site, at real scale and tied to the actual location.

With GIP VISION you can:
- place BIM/IFC models in augmented reality at real scale;
- launch AR sessions by PIN code, QR code, deep link, or from the project list;
- align a model to an opening, fiducial marker, AprilTag, virtual anchor, or virtual segment;
- fine-tune placement manually: move, rotate, adjust position, and undo the latest alignment;
- use Before/After Comparison to check how the camera view matches the overlaid model;
- control opacity, depth, occlusion, mixed reality mode, display distance, and model visualization modes;
- measure distances in AR using both the real environment and model elements;
- select IFC elements by aiming at them, view properties, enable labels, and filter elements by IFC type;
- check collisions, openings, and equipment fit before installation;
- use LiDAR control to validate BIM elements against scan data and export results as a ZIP package;
- create remarks and instructions directly on site, attach photos, and capture issues in the model context;
- work with steel marking workflows: projects, revisions, mark groups, individual marks, element composition, marker verification, and status updates;
- open and review models in 3D, select elements, highlight them, and navigate to the required project area.

Offline mode:
- create project snapshots and track package readiness;
- download project ZIP packages to the device;
- open prepared models and AR placement workflows without a server connection;
- work with offline projects stored on the device or external storage.

LiDAR scanning:
- scan rooms and construction areas on LiDAR-enabled devices;
- save scans and use them to check the as-built condition;
- export results for sharing with colleagues and further processing.
