GlucoScan AI

GlucoScan AI helps you understand what you eat. Take a photo of your plate and the AI recognises the foods and estimates their carbohydrates, protein, fat and kcal. It is an educational tool designed for the everyday life of people with diabetes.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Scan your meal with a photo. If the AI is unsure about a food, it tells you so you can confirm or correct it before saving.
• See the nutrition of each dish, including mixed dishes.
• Calculate with your own settings. The assistance calculator gives an educational insulin dose calculation using the ratio, sensitivity (ISF) and target that you enter or confirm, and it subtracts your insulin on board from the correction dose. Without your settings it does not calculate: it never uses default values.
• Connect Nightscout to use your latest reading while it is recent: 10 minutes from when it was measured.
• Save your favourite meals and log them in one tap.
• Follow your day on Home and in your history, with tips from the nutrition coach.
• Add home screen widgets.
• Get reminders, such as the one for the second part of a dual bolus.

YOUR PRIVACY
Photos that the app analyses, saves or uploads do not include their location. You can delete your account from within the app.

FREE OR PRO
The free version includes up to 5 photo analyses in any 24-hour period, with ads. With Pro there are no ads, you can run up to 100 photo analyses in any 24-hour period (at most 30 an hour), and you get the history of previous days (your last 50 records, including today’s), the weekly summary, the daily glucose chart with your meals and insulin on board, the macro rings, the PDF report for your care team, unlimited favourites and AI tips from the coach.
