Simply scan a barcode and have access to product information on hundreds of thousands of products; Gluten-Free makes living gluten-free a little easier.

With a beautiful user interface, Gluten-Free is featured packed. The built in, auto-updating, Ingredients tab has the Gluten-Free status of 700+ ingredients. This version also supports custom flags for ingredients based on a particular user's sensitivities! This information is stored on your device locally and can be accessed wherever you are.

The most exciting feature of Gluten-Free is the scanning feature. We’ve connected with a company that has over 100,000 products in a detailed food database. We built our own algorithm that checks for hundreds of ingredients and provides you with a simple color rating. Scan an item and within seconds see a green, yellow, or red label with the reason our algorithm made that choice.* We’ve dramatically improved this feature, and while some regional chains are missing, nearly all national brands are available.

* Please note that manufacturing processes and ppm tolerance are beyond the scope of this app; the basis for a product's color rating comes from its ingredients.

Tired of guessing what you can eat at restaurants? Use Gluten-Free’s Around Me feature to find restaurants and shops that have been tagged as Gluten-Free on Google. This feature works best in bigger cities, but we’ve found new shops even in smaller towns.

Don’t live in a big city? No problem! Use the Specific Locations tab and get immediate access to the gluten-free menu of over 45 nationwide chains. After an initial download, these menus are stored on your device, so they are available regardless of your internet connection.

Our built-in Facebook integration allows you to quickly share products via Facebook. Find a product you love? Share it with your friends! Gluten-Free also supports ratings, which will sync with all the App’s users.
