Gluten kasalligi, baʼzida glyutenga sezgir enteropatiya deb ataladi, bug'doy, arpa va javdarda mavjud bo'lgan protein bo'lgan kleykovina yeyishga qarshi immunitet reaktsiyasidir.

Agar sizda kolyak kasalligi bo'lsa, kleykovina iste'mol qilish ingichka ichakda immunitet reaktsiyasini keltirib chiqaradi. Vaqt o'tishi bilan bu reaktsiya ingichka ichakning shilliq qavatiga zarar etkazadi va u ba'zi oziq moddalarni o'zlashtirishiga to'sqinlik qiladi (malabsorbtsiya). Ichakning shikastlanishi ko'pincha diareya, charchoq, vazn yo'qotish, shish va anemiyaga olib keladi va jiddiy asoratlarga olib kelishi mumkin.
