Description by Nicolas Gustavo Melian(from the App Store)
Every Tour pro swings with the same 3:1 tempo. Now you can too.
Golf Tempo Pro is a precision swing tempo trainer and golf metronome for iPhone and Apple Watch. Train the rhythm that separates Tour pros from weekend players, with audio and haptic cues you can use at home, the office, or the driving range.
Why Tempo Beats Power
A fast swing is nothing without timing. Tour pros maintain an exact 3:1 ratio between their backswing and downswing, every single time. Amateurs don't, and that single difference explains most of the inconsistency in your game.
Golf Tempo Pro locks this ratio into your muscle memory, swing after swing.
Core Training
• 3:1 and 2:1 ratios for long game and short game • 7 progressive tempo presets, from slow groove to Tour speed • 6 professional audio cues including piano, metronome click, wood block, drum, beep, and clean tone • Sample-accurate timing at 48 kHz with zero drift across long sessions • Haptic feedback synced to every swing phase so you feel the rhythm, not just hear it
Apple Watch Companion
Leave your phone in the bag. The Watch app runs the same audio engine, haptics sync with each beep, and all you need is AirPods. Built for real practice at the driving range.
Rhythm Check
Close your eyes, imagine a full swing, tap three times. Golf Tempo Pro tells you how close your internal rhythm is to Tour tempo and which preset matches yours. A mental drill you can use anywhere.
Progress That Sticks
Track every session, build day streaks, watch your ideal ratio percentage climb over weeks of practice. Consistent timing becomes measurable and visible.
Who It's For
• Weekend players who feel rushed at the top of the backswing • Low handicappers chasing the last bit of consistency • Beginners locking in good habits from day one • Coaches and instructors who want a pocket teaching aid • Anyone practicing at home, in the office, or at the range
The Science
Swing tempo has been analyzed on every major Tour since the 1990s. The finding is universal across styles and physiques: elite golfers return to the same 3:1 ratio. Backswing takes three times the time of the downswing, without exception.
Golf Tempo Pro distills that research into a trainer simple enough to use in 5 minutes a day.
