Grain: Focus Timer

Grain is a focus timer with a little man in the hourglass.

Press Start and Monty walks in through a gap in the glass, opens his umbrella, and the sand begins to fall. When the time is up he bows, dives into the sand and walks home to his corner. Nothing dies. Nobody nags. He just keeps you company.

THE SAND IS REAL
• Tilt your phone and the sand pours the other way, and he slides with it.
• Shake three times to start a focus.
• Flow mode: no end time, the sand just keeps falling and every minute counts.
• Breaks: after a focus he stretches while the sand goes back up.

HE GROWS WITH WHAT YOU FOCUS ON

• Every level adds something to his corner: a lamp, a TV, a plant, a rug.

• Share a picture of your week, with no names or tasks in it.

Grain is free to use. Grain Gold adds more stickmen, glasses, sands, sounds and colours, 1.5× XP so he levels up and fills his rooms sooner, five more things for his corner (a bookshelf, a dumbbell, a wall clock, a painting and a goldfish bowl, one for every 10 hours of each kind of focus), and planning up to 90 days ahead on the month calendar.
