GS Driver

GS Driver is the bus driver app for schools that use the GreenSchool school-management system. It is not a public service: a driver signs in with the username and password issued by their school and only sees the bus, route and students assigned to them.

What a driver can do:

• Students — the list of students on the bus with every family phone number labelled by owner, one-tap call and WhatsApp, the home address, and show-on-map.
• Map — all assigned students' home locations on one map, with the bus's live position.
• Daily — mark each student's trip step for the day: approaching home, boarded at home, arrived at school, leaving school, arrived home, plus "absent today" and "left late". One tap stamps the whole bus at the school gate. Each mark instantly notifies the family through the GreenSchool family app.
• Live tracking — while the driver switches tracking on, the bus location is sent to the school every few seconds so families and the school office can follow the bus in real time. Tracking continues when the phone screen is off and stops when the driver turns it off or signs out.

The app interface is in Kurdish (Sorani).

Accounts cannot be created inside the app. Access is managed by each school's administration through GreenSchool.
