GUMPAI: Sengoku Strategy

Build your plan. Read the battlefield. Turn the tide with one decisive command.

GUMPAI is a tactical strategy game set in Japan's Sengoku era. Choose your commanders, arrange your army and give each unit a policy before battle. Your troops carry out the plan while you direct targets, reposition units and unleash tactics.

MAKE YOUR ARMY WORK TOGETHER
Recruit commanders and combine spears, cavalry, bows, guns and ninjas. Scout the enemy, study the terrain and choose a formation and military law. Army notes explain your formation's strengths and tradeoffs.

COMMAND AT THE RIGHT MOMENT
Strike a flank, disrupt an enemy tactic or push for the enemy base. Use the Tactician's Eye to slow the action and consider your next move. Review battle highlights, then rematch with the same army or revise your plan.

Use Group orders to move several units together, hold a position or fall back to your base. Switch between the whole battlefield and a closer view to read the situation and choose your target.

CONQUER THE CAMPAIGN
Learn the basics in the Guide, fight across a series of battlefields and earn stars, commanders and equipment. The campaign is playable offline.

TEST YOUR PLAN AGAINST OTHER TACTICIANS
In Ghost battles, challenge defense plans created by other players. Daily battle gives everyone the same battlefield and conditions. Play it offline, then connect to post a result and compare rankings. Ghost battles and online rankings require an internet connection. Online registration is anonymous and can be deleted, together with its associated data, from Settings.

Prepare your army in portrait or landscape, then fight in landscape. Adjust sound, haptics, motion, handedness and graphics. The game supports English and Japanese, with a language choice in Settings.
