Hanzi Coach

Hanzi Coach is a paper-based Chinese handwriting practice app. Choose Chinese characters, generate and print an A4 worksheet, complete it by hand, then use your camera or photo library to receive character-level and stroke-level feedback.

PHOTO SCORING

Scoring is designed for worksheets generated by the app’s A4 Worksheet feature. Worksheets from other sources or with different layouts may not be recognized correctly.

Character selection, worksheet creation, photo scoring, saving, and viewing practice records do not require watching an ad. The first two Detailed Reviews are free. After that, users may voluntarily watch one rewarded ad to unlock weak-character analysis and practice suggestions for the selected record. The app does not use banner ads, and interstitial ads are disabled in this version.

PRIVACY

Handwriting images, selected characters, scores, and saved practice records are processed and stored on the device. They are not uploaded to Google for advertising purposes.

Advertising consent and applicable privacy choices are handled through Google User Messaging Platform and Google AdMob.

Scoring results are intended to support practice and self-evaluation. Results may be affected by camera angle, lighting, paper distortion, and writing tools.
