Haretabi is a travel app where an AI travel buddy helps you plan, and every place you go becomes a page in your own travel notebook. And the fun of collecting shrines, temples and castles is still here.
- PLAN -
■ Ask your AI travel buddy
"Two days in Kyoto this weekend." "What if it rains?" Just chat, and your kemono companion puts together a trip booklet. Save it as a new trip or add it to one you're planning, then ask for tweaks like "make day 2 more relaxed."
10 free turns every day (planning a trip uses 3). On days you want to keep talking, Consultation tickets are available, but you never need them to enjoy the daily free turns.
■ Add any place to your plan
Aquariums, theme parks, markets, stations: search by name and add them in a tap, in English, Japanese or Chinese. See estimated travel time between stops, optimize the order in one tap, and view the route on a mini map. Open directions in Google Maps when it's time to go.
■ Bookings, packing and diary in one place
Keep hotel and transport bookings, a packing list, and a diary with a cover photo for each day, all inside the trip.
■ Plan together with friends
Invite friends to edit the itinerary, packing list, bookings and group expenses together in real time. Settle up shared costs with a clear split, currency by currency.
- REMEMBER -
■ One-tap check-in
Log where you are with a single tap. Add photos, notes, who you were with and what you spent, and edit it all any time later.
■ Add photos from your library
Haretabi finds photos that match each day's records by when and where they were taken.
■ Trip recaps and a travel journal
Back home, share your trip with a recap card, or bind your records, diary, bookings and photos into an A5 journal (PDF).
■ Prefecture map
All 47 prefectures of Japan and 20 counties and cities of Taiwan. Watch each place you've been fill with color.
■ Widget and Live Activity
While traveling, see your next stop and today's progress on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. On your Home Screen, your companion greets you with today's step count.
■ Sign in with Apple, back up to the cloud
Sign in with one tap. Your records are backed up to the cloud and can be restored on a new phone (photos stay on your device).
- COLLECT -
■ Fill your book with shrines, temples and castles
Every visit fills in your collection, including Japan's Top 100 Castles and the next 100, plus Taiwan's temples. Goshuin and castle stamp photos go into a flip-through stamp book.
■ Sightseeing and fun spots too
Aquariums, theme parks, markets and other sightseeing spots join your collection.
■ Companions that evolve in four stages
Komainu guardian-dogs, foxes, deer, the tiger god Hu Ye... charming, mysterious companions that dwell in the shrines and temples of Japan and Taiwan. Keep visiting and your bond deepens, and their form evolves through four stages. Feed them, dress them up and decorate their little home.
■ Titles, fortunes and daily missions
Earn titles to chronicle your journey. A daily fortune and daily missions give you a reason for the next trip.
■ Spot guides
Intros, highlights, tips and stories for hundreds of spots. Scenic views and landmarks across Japan and Taiwan, plus Taiwan's old streets and night markets, are ready for your plans too.
Rain or shine, keep every trip in one journal.
