2. PARK IT — Not ready to decide? Park the item on your wish-list shelf. Set a revisit reminder. When it comes up days later, most items no longer feel urgent.

3. BREATHE — A 4-7-8 breathing exercise calms the urgency in 90 seconds. Or try the 5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique to redirect your attention entirely.

4. REFLECT — Log what triggered the urge: boredom, stress, anxiety, FOMO, a social media ad. See your emotional intensity before and after. Over time, patterns emerge.

5. DECIDE — Mark it: "I Didn't Buy It" or "I Bought It." No guilt. No lectures. Your streak and spend-resisted total update immediately.
