SCAN PRODUCTS
• Take a photo of the ingredient list: the text is read right on your phone, in English or French
• Or scan the barcode: the ingredients come from the Open Food Facts database
• Every recognized ingredient gets a rating from 0 (well tolerated) to 3 (very poorly tolerated), additives and E numbers included (E330, E621…)
• Words like "smoked", "aged", "cured", "fermented" or "canned" on the label are taken into account

FRESHNESS CHANGES EVERYTHING
• Histamine builds up over time: fresh minced meat is well tolerated, the same meat kept a few days in the fridge much less so
• The app warns you whenever a food can get riskier: pre-packed, leftovers, fish that isn't very fresh, aged cheese…
• "Cautious scan" option: when the label says nothing, the scan uses the worst case
