Description by Historik(from the App Store)
History is traditionally analog, left to weather in the elements, and at times difficult to access. With Historik™, you can bring history to life wherever you go.
Historik™ leverages the power of geospatial data to define each piece of history. Swipe through historical markers to find what most interests you within your proximity. Historik tailors your experience based on your preferences. You choose what you want to see at any given time by updating your category filters changing what notifications and historical points you see on the map.
Read a quick summary and some fun facts, or dive deeper and get the full story. Historik™ curates two versions of each piece of history to allow you to decide how much you want to learn. Bring history to life with the power of Augmented Reality (AR). History may be gone from the landscape, but now with the AR, Historik™ is putting it back at its origin with modern technology. Never unknowingly pass by history again. Welcome to History Rediscovered.
