HK Correctional Services Prep

Prepare for Hong Kong Correctional Services Department recruitment with a single app covering both entry ranks — Correctional Officer (CO) and Assistant Officer II (AO II) — across the selection interview, the written tests, the physical tests and department knowledge.

INTERVIEW BANK
500 interview questions per rank, 1,000 in total, in parallel Chinese and English and fully available offline.

Officer topics: background and motivation, leadership and team supervision, custodial safety and risk management, integrity and professional conduct, humane custody and fair treatment, rehabilitation and reintegration, communication and crisis response, smart-prison technology, Chinese and English writing with policy analysis, and English group discussion on current affairs.

Assistant Officer II topics: frontline discipline and procedure, alertness and emergency response, integrity and professional boundaries, communicating with persons in custody, teamwork and shift handover, emotional crises and special needs, rehabilitation support, Cantonese group discussion on current affairs, and fitness, shift work and career readiness.

Answer on your own first, then reveal the reference answer with a breakdown of what the panel is assessing. A timer helps you rehearse spoken delivery.

WRITTEN PRACTICE
The Basic Law and National Security Law Test (BLNST) with Chinese/English switching, Chinese and English use — vocabulary, grammar and comprehension — and aptitude drills covering numerical, verbal and deductive reasoning.

STUDY NOTES
The official selection stages for both ranks, plus practical frameworks: E-STAR-L for personal questions, SAFE-R for situational questions, group-discussion openers and summaries, weak-answer contrasts, an 18-point self-review sheet and a seven-day plan. Department topics build balanced answers on public safety, humane custody, rehabilitation, reintegration and smart-prison technology.

FOUR FITNESS EVENTS
Train for isometric strength, the 10m x 4 shuttle run, the 30-second Bailey Bridge and the 800m run, with result logging and progress tracking.

PREP TOOLS
Wrong-question review, bookmarks and study statistics to track your strong and weak areas.
