Drag back the catapult and let fly: boulders that send raiders tumbling, fire pots that burn whole packs, and nets that catch enemies alive so you can recruit them to your towers.
FIVE DEADLY REALMS • Meadow Keep: horned raiders with shields and siege ladders • Frostpeak Pass: ice wolves, frost trolls and snowball-hurling yetis in the blizzard • Sunken Marsh: the dead rise again unless you burn them • Emberfall: fireproof golems and flying imps over a river of lava • Dune Fortress: tomb guards and giant scorpions strike the whole wall at once
A NEW STRATEGY FOR EVERY MAP What wins one map fails on the next. Boiling oil is deadly on a single road and useless against fireproof golems. Mud swallows your boulders' splash. Blizzards scatter arrows. Read the field and build the right defence.
BUILD YOUR DEFENCE • Upgrade your catapult: faster winch, bigger stones, iron-bound arm • Fortify the castle: stone walls, a spiked parapet, a cauldron of boiling oil • Man your towers with the raiders you capture: archers, mages and masons, or build a ballista • Troops earn ranks and specialise: longbows or volleys, storm or frost mages, engineers or sappers • Three wall sections: leave one side undefended and it falls • Choose your loadout: chain shot, plague jars, a heavy or light catapult arm, a scatter cup
WATCH YOUR CASTLE GROW Start with a timber palisade, one wooden watchtower and a creaky old catapult. Every upgrade shows: stone walls, iron-bound battlements, a towering fortress; great towers with banners; a royal siege engine; archers, mages and masons who earn gold-trimmed gear as they rank up.
BOSSES AND ENDLESS WAVES Every tenth wave a boss arrives: a giant chieftain, a frost giant, a hydra, an ash dragon, a great sandworm. The waves never stop, and they only get harder. How long can you hold?
PERMANENT PROGRESS Earn crowns every run and spend them on permanent upgrades, new ammo, catapult parts and your keep's colours. Beat a boss and pick a reward that shapes the rest of the run.
GAME CENTER LEADERBOARDS Climb the rankings on all five maps and see who holds out the longest.
