HomeFront is a health monitor for your iPhone. It checks your device configuration, monitors your network exposure, and scores your security posture — all without sending a byte of your data anywhere.

SECURITY SCORE — REAL ASSESSMENT, NOT THEATER

HomeFront checks what actually matters: Is your passcode set? Is Find My enabled? Is your iOS version current? Are app permissions reasonable?

Each check is weighted by severity. Your score reflects reality — not a fake number designed to scare you into upgrading.

DNS CONTENT FILTERING — ON-DEVICE PROTECTION

HomeFront filters DNS queries on your device using Apple's Network Extension framework. Known problematic domains are blocked before they load. No traffic leaves your device — the filter runs locally at 127.0.0.1. This is not a VPN. Your browsing stays private.

The reference database is sourced from open community intelligence feeds and updates automatically.

BREACH AWARENESS

Check if your passwords or email addresses have appeared in known data breaches. Password checking uses the Have I Been Pwned k-anonymity protocol — only a partial hash prefix is sent, never your actual password. The same privacy-preserving approach used by 1Password and Firefox Monitor.

SAFARI WEB SHIELD

A native Safari content blocker that filters ads, trackers, and known problematic URLs. Uses Apple's Content Blocker API — the extension cannot access your browsing history or page content.

PRIVACY AUDIT

See which apps have access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, and photos. HomeFront flags permissions that look excessive and explains why they matter.

PHISHING CHECK

Learn to spot fake emails and suspicious messages. Report them directly from the app.
