HomePhoto

Keep your iPhone photos at home, on your Mac.
HomePhoto backs up your photos and videos to an SSD connected to your Mac. No cloud service is involved.

Photos travel directly from your iPhone to your Mac over your home Wi-Fi, encrypted. New photos are sent while your iPhone is charging, so most of the time there's nothing to do.

■ Keep every photo without worrying about iPhone storage
・New photos and videos go to your Mac automatically while charging
・Live Photos, RAW and videos are saved exactly as taken
・Photos you delete from your iPhone stay on your Mac
・See the photos on your iPhone and the ones only on your Mac in one library

■ Bring photos back when you need them
・Restore photos from your Mac to your iPhone: all of them, an album, a year and more
・Moving to a new iPhone? Your library comes right along

■ Made for families
・Back up each family member's iPhone to the same Mac
・Share only the albums you choose with your family; everything else stays private

■ Built to protect your photos
・Saved photos are checked for damage once a month
・Optionally keep a second copy on another SSD (mirror)
・Your iPhone lets you know if it hasn't reached your Mac or SSD for a while

■ What you need
・A Mac (macOS 26 or later) with the free Mac app "HomePhoto" (download at https://kando-lab.com/homephoto/)
・An external SSD for your photos (recommended)
・Your iPhone and Mac on the same Wi-Fi
