HowZat Project

Your accounts system will tell you the margin next month. HowZat tells you which day it went wrong, and why — while you can still do something about it.

Log what got built and who was on it at the end of each shift. Two minutes on your phone. HowZat works out production, cost, overheads and profit for every day, and flags the ones that lost money with the note you left against them.

WHAT IT DOES

- Track cost and production day by day, on every job at once
- See profit per day, and the running total against the margin you tendered
- Forecast where the job finishes, from what it has cost so far
- Price the next job from your own rates, then send it to a live project when you win it
- Export a full report as a PDF or a spreadsheet, straight from your phone
- Track variations separately from the original contract
- Mark items as subcontracted so the subbie's cost books itself from the production you log

BUILT FOR HOW SITE WORK ACTUALLY RUNS

Your rates live in one library — people, plant, material, traffic, subcontractors — and everything draws from it. Give a person a role and every report shows what the engineer cost against what the crew cost.

Overhead and margin can be set per cost type, so material at four percent and labour at twelve isn't a fudge.

Set the target margin when you price the job and it stays put, so what you are measured against never quietly moves.

WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL

Everything is stored on your phone. No account, no login, no server. It works down a valley with no coverage, and nothing you enter ever leaves the device unless you export it yourself.

FREE TO TRY PROPERLY

Ten days of cost entry, free, with nothing held back. After that a single one-off purchase unlocks it for good — not a subscription, nothing recurring, and nothing you have already entered is ever locked or deleted.
