Welcome to the factory floor, Engineer!

Hue Factory is a puzzle game set in a whimsical steampunk paint factory. Glowing paint pours out of brass machines day and night, and someone has to make sure it all ends up in the right jars. That someone is you.

How It Works
Tap a tile and it rotates a quarter turn. That's the whole control scheme, and it's enough to steer streams of paint through a maze of pipes, from the emitters all the way to the collector jars. Paint flows in real time, so you can watch a colour creep along its route, run into a crate and stop dead, or finally pour into a waiting jar. Fill every jar at the same time and the level is yours. Careful, though: several colours share the board, and one thoughtless rotation can break a connection you spent minutes setting up.

Master the Machinery
Every chapter adds a new contraption:
• Angle pipes turn a stream around a corner
• Splitters divide one stream into two new colours
• Mergers blend two streams into a single shade
• Crossovers let two lines cross a tile without mixing
• Teleporters send paint to the far side of the board
None of them are complicated on their own. Put five of them between an emitter and a jar and things get interesting.

Mix Your Own Colours
The paint itself is part of the puzzle. Splitters and mergers create new colours mid-flow, and some jars only accept one particular shade. Later levels ask you to build a colour that doesn't exist yet: split here, merge there, and hope you got the mix right.

Collect Every Star
Filling the jars clears a level. Perfecting one takes more. Stars sit scattered around each board and only light up when paint runs straight through them. You can often finish a level with a shortcut we never intended, but the stars mark the proper route, and you'll want all three to earn the full rating and unlock the later chapters.

Five Handcrafted Chapters
Work your way up from Apprentice's Awakening, through Tinkerer's Trial, Cogsmith's Challenge and Clockwork Conundrum, to Inventor's Insight. Early boards are small and friendly. The later ones are sprawling factory floors where dozens of paint lines run at once and every free tile matters. Each level was picked and play-tested by hand, a short tutorial introduces every new machine, and if you get properly stuck, a hint can show you the next tile that needs turning.

The Endless Engine
Finished the chapters? The factory keeps going. The Endless Engine builds a brand-new board every time you pull the lever. No two are the same, and there is no end to them.

A Factory With Character
The whole game takes place inside one gloriously over-engineered paint works. Gears spin around the pipework, jars sit against worn brick walls, and every board feels like a different corner of the same machine. It's a satisfying thing, watching a colour you routed creep through the pipes, light up a star on the way past and settle into its jar.
