Hush: Decibel & Noise Meter

Noise you have to show someone? Hush is the decibel meter that keeps the record.
With Hush Pro, every recording keeps how loud it got, when and where, with a photo, and becomes a PDF report someone else can read.
The live meter is free. Recordings, photos and video with the dB on them, dossiers and reports need Hush Pro. No account needed.

Neighbors, a bar terrace, traffic, building works, a site, an event or a facility check: a reading on a meter app is gone when you close it. Hush keeps it.

LIVE METER
• Live dBA level you can read at a glance
• LAeq, Lmax, LCpeak and L90 while you measure
• Live octave-band analyzer

KEEP THE RECORD
• Each recording saves the level with a photo, the place (GPS and address) and the time
• Live camera puts the level, place and time on your photos and videos
• History, waveform and spectrum for every recording

DOSSIERS AND REPORTS
• Collect the recordings for one address, venue or site in a dossier with a map
• Export a PDF or CSV report for one recording or a whole dossier
• The method and limits are stated in every report, so the reader knows what the numbers mean

UNDERSTAND THE SOUND
• LAeq: the average level over the measurement
• Lmax: the loudest moment
• LCpeak: short C-weighted peaks, such as bangs and bass thumps
• L90: the background level, exceeded 90% of the time
• Octave bands show whether it is low rumble, voices or a high whine

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Sound is analyzed on your iPhone; audio is not sent to us
• Saving microphone audio is optional
• Optional private iCloud sync
• Works with widgets, Apple Watch, Shortcuts and Live Activity

KNOW THE LIMITS
Readings are indicative: they are estimated with the iPhone's built-in microphone and depend on the device, its case and how you hold it. Hush is not a certified sound level meter. It does not tell you whether a level is safe for hearing or allowed under any rule. The method and limits are stated in every report.
