HydraHound: Hydration Reminder

HydraHound is the hydration reminder that refuses to be ignored.

Free download includes onboarding and a 3-day trial. After the trial, an active HydraHound Premium subscription is required to use drink logging, reminders, and Hound Mode. Optional Beast Mode credit packs are separate consumable in-app purchases.

Most water reminder apps send one notification, get dismissed, and give up. HydraHound does not. After your chosen interval passes, the hound starts immediately with a series of escalating follow-up notifications until you log a drink.

Set your wake time and sleep time, then choose a 30 minute or 1 hour interval. Tap "I hydrated" when you drink and the clock resets.

Ignore it, and the hounding begins.

There is no extra reminder step and no grace period. Once your interval ends, HydraHound enters Hound Mode right away. Each round is a clear set of 8 escalating nudges. Depending on your difficulty setting, you lose the day after 8, 16, or 24 missed nudges. Every hunt notification tells you exactly how close you are to losing the day. If you do lose the day, HydraHound tells you, then the rest of that day's reminders stay general.

Optional Beast Mode adds real stakes. Beast Mode requires an active HydraHound Premium subscription and is enabled separately inside the app. You get 5 starter credits. Each lost day uses 1 credit. When credits run out, HydraHound locks until more credits are purchased. Additional Beast Mode credits are sold as separate consumable in-app purchases.

Subscription
HydraHound offers a 3-day free trial. After the trial ends, an active HydraHound Premium subscription is required to continue using the app’s core features, including drink logging, reminders, and Hound Mode.
The subscription renews automatically at £9.99 per year unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time in your iCloud Subscriptions. HydraHound never sees your payment details. Everything is handled by Apple.

Optional Beast Mode credits are consumable in-app purchases sold separately. Credits are stored on device for that install and are not restorable across devices or after deleting the app.
