IEPilot: Understand IEP & 504

IEPilot is a personal organization and education tool for parents navigating special education paperwork. Import your child's school documents — IEPs, 504 plans, evaluation reports, progress reports — and see what each section says in plain English, so you can stay organized and take part in the process with confidence.

IEPilot is for informational and educational use only. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal services, or representation.

UNDERSTAND EVERY DOCUMENT
• Import a PDF, photo, or scan in seconds
• Get a plain-English summary of each section, plus a glossary of common terms
• Keep every document in one place, organized by child

STAY ON TOP OF DATES
• See document-related dates and common review timelines at a glance
• Optional reminders so an important date never sneaks up on you

PREPARE FOR MEETINGS
• Turn any document into a personal preparation sheet: questions to ask, points to raise, and a checklist to bring along
• Share your preparation notes as a PDF or text

ASK YOUR CHILD'S FILE
• Ask questions across all of a child's saved documents and get answers grounded in them, with references to the source document
• Use ready-made letter and email templates that you review, edit, and send yourself

PRIVACY AND DATA PROCESSING
• No account required — your documents and notes are stored locally on your device
• Export your data or delete everything at any time in Settings
• Content you choose to submit for analysis is processed by third-party AI service providers (Google) to generate summaries and answers, and is not retained by the app after processing
• Details are explained in the Privacy Policy
