iLende: Hiking Map

iLende is a detailed topographic map for hiking, trekking and ski touring in 17 countries, from Norway and the Alps to Patagonia and New Zealand. Find routes and huts, see the terrain in 3D, and plan multi-day tours one day at a time. The map is free in every country, and you don't need an account.

17 countries, one map
Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Czechia, Argentina, Chile and New Zealand. Colors, trails and hut symbols stay the same across every border.

Read the terrain
• Contour lines, hillshading and 3D terrain
• Trails, marked routes, huts, shelters and place names
• A scale bar that also shows the contour interval, in metric, US or UK units
• Search for places, peaks, huts, routes and addresses

Explore before you go
• Routes and huts near the map or anywhere, filtered by country, region, length, climb and hut type
• A page for every route, with a 3D view and flyover, the distance, the climb, the walking time and an elevation profile
• Record your hikes on iPhone or Apple Watch

iLende Pro, for the trip itself
• Tours day by day: put routes on days, add nights at huts, and see each day's distance, climb, walking time, sunrise and sunset
• Your own routes: follow the trails, draw straight or freehand, or route from A to B, with undo and redo
• Navigation on foot or by bike, on iPhone and Apple Watch, with the arrival time, the distance left and the climb ahead. The Watch can guide you on its own while your iPhone stays in your pocket
• Offline maps: download an area or a whole tour, with huts, places and navigation, for where there is no signal
• iCloud sync of your waypoints, routes and tours on iPhone, iPad and Mac
• Every trip you record, kept in Activities with its distance and climb
• Measuring: the distance over the terrain, the ascent and descent, and the walking time

Apple Watch
The Watch app shows the map online at no extra cost. With iLende Pro, download areas to the Watch and use them without your iPhone or a network.
