Imposter: Find the Liar

Everyone gets the word. Except one of you.

Grab 3 to 20 people and one phone. Most of you see a secret word. The Imposter sees no word at all — just a single hand-written hint.

Pass the phone round, and each of you looks at your own card. Then go round the table: each player says ONE word connected to the secret. Too obvious and you hand it to the imposter; too vague and you look like one.

Argue it out, then vote on the phone. It shows who was faking, and it keeps the score.

Not in the same room? Make a room and send the four-letter code. Each card is on its own phone. Pick how clues are given: Talk, when you are together or on a call, or Type, where everyone types a word or a short sentence at once and the clues show together. Then everyone votes on their own phone and sees who voted for whom. There is no voice or video in the app. Joining a room is always free.

WHAT MAKES THIS ONE DIFFERENT

Every single word ships with a hint written by a person. "Will Smith" gives the imposter "Slap". Not "Actor". That gap is the whole game, and it is the thing you cannot generate.

Pick how hard it is. Every pack has easy, medium and hard words.

The phone remembers each group you play with, and their scores, so the next game with them is one tap.

Forgot your own word mid-round? You can look again, and the table sees that you did.

No ads. There is no ad SDK in this app at all. A game on one phone works completely offline, with no account and no sign-up.

WHAT IS FREE, AND WHAT IS PAID

Free: three whole packs, every game on one phone, joining any online room, and one online room of your own.

Imposter Pro: one payment, once. All ten packs, for good.

Imposter Online: a subscription, by the month or by the year, for the person who makes the rooms. It also opens all ten packs while it runs. Payment is charged to your store account. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can manage or cancel it in your account settings.

Imposter is a party word game of bluffing and social deduction for friends, family and any group, at one table or apart.
