The partner waits, responds, and helps the communicator learn where their words are and use them more fluently—without taking over their message. Private on-device Chat is available on compatible Apple Intelligence devices. Offline conversation practice remains available on other devices. Full Access subscribers can use premium cloud features subject to usage allowances.

Teacher Modeling keeps an adult's demonstrations separate from the communicator's own messages. Professionals can record communication opportunities and export timestamped language samples identified by speaker and input method.

Basic AAC, typing, saved boards, manual board editing, device speech, and offline conversation practice remain available without a subscription. Boards are stored on the device.
