Instarot opens both sites in one clean app and removes:
• Instagram Reels: the Reels tab, reels in your feed, reels in Explore
• YouTube Shorts: the Shorts shelf, the Shorts tab, Shorts in search
• YouTube comments and live chat
• Any YouTube video whose title matches your keyword list. It ships with a clickbait and rage-bait list you can edit.
Everything else works: your feed, stories, messages, posting, search, subscriptions and playback. Big floating play, speed and full-screen buttons sit on every video. Dark mode included.
No account. No tracking. Instarot adds no ads of its own; YouTube and Instagram still show theirs. Instarot has no server and collects nothing; it runs entirely on your phone. It is free, with an optional tip jar if it helps you.
Why not a Safari extension? Extensions only change Safari, and the Instagram and YouTube apps stay one tap away. Instarot is its own focused app with two tabs, so there is nowhere to drift.
