This App replaces our previous iRounds OB app that was released last year and retired early this year.

instaRounds is a mobile App designed to help busy physicians communicate better. In a world where the all important patient hand off is critical for patient safety this App makes it easier to keep track of those patients.

Features include:

Patient Sign-out: Communicate with members of your own group in real time about patients in the hospital. Can keep separate OB and GYN patient lists. Keep everyone in the loop and now everyone on your team knows which patients to round on and their location, add multiple hospitals to fit your practice's needs.

MD to MD communication: HIPAA secure and compliant text messaging to members of your group. Share ideas and knowledge in real time about critical patient issues.

Schedule: Through the website portal your office Admin staff can keep your schedule organized regarding upcoming cases in the hospital or about important practice or hospital department meetings.

On call: Be able to plan early and keep track of your On Call schedule for the practice. You will know on any given day who is on call.

Cross Coverage: This is an industry first, be able to share your patient census with the group you cross cover with in real time. You can also select start and stop times so the requesting group has control over access to their patients.

*This App works in conjunction with a website portal that allows selected Admin staff to keep track of your schedule, input patient info or providers themselves can enter info from the website or the iPhone.

Voice recognition available for iPhone 4S and 5, so you don’t have to spend valuable time typing, just click and talk.

HIPAA security: E-mail specific and password log in for the web and/or the App, with added 4 digit security code to access the App. Ensuring that ePHI is secure at all times.
