iPetRock

Meet your new best friend — a virtual pet rock.

iPetRock is back. The original 2008 classic, reimagined for modern iPhones. Same rock. Somehow more going on now.

Your pet rock lives on your phone. Drag it around, shake your phone to send it rolling, poke it, give it a polish, and watch it settle in for a nap. It doesn't need feeding, walking, or an apology when you forget about it for three weeks — it's just happy you're here.

It's picked up a few new tricks, too. It can answer your questions now — just ask it a yes or no question and it'll tell you. It reads fortunes. It tells knock-knock jokes, unprompted, whether they're funny or not. It keeps a diary, and holds onto little memory pebbles from the moments you share. Feeling fancy? Trade up to a Gold, Blue, Leopard, or Jade rock. And it lives in landscapes that have quietly leveled up from flat color to actual scenery, evolved grasslands and cozy nests included, with the original classic backgrounds still there for anyone who wants the throwback look.

Oh, and it's not just on your phone anymore — your rock can live on your Apple Watch too, so it's never more than a glance away.

A rock with a diary, a memory, and can see the future. We didn't see that coming either.
