Islander: Dynamic Island Pet

A small, cozy home for your iPhone. Meet your resident, feed it, give it a name and pet it with a tap or a stroke. Add its home to your Home Screen, or invite it for a visit to your Dynamic Island.

A companion without chores
Your resident gets hungry and sleeps at night, but never dies or runs away. In the app it lives in a small 3D diorama: toss its food and it catches it, or the food bounces off its bed. On your Home Screen, a widget keeps it close.

- Small and medium Home Screen widgets with feeding and island-visit buttons
- Optional Live Activity with feeding from the expanded Dynamic Island or Lock Screen
- A satiety ring that keeps emptying in real time, even while your iPhone is locked
- Every feed renews the island visit, and you can start another one from the app, widget or Shortcuts
- Adjustable sleeping hours, with 10pm to 7am as the default
- A name of your own for each resident
- Resident data saved locally on your device

About island visits
Live Activities are temporary: iOS ends each one after eight hours and controls when it appears in the Dynamic Island. Islander starts a fresh visit whenever you feed your resident or open the app, so a resident you look after stays with you. The visit also appears on the Lock Screen, including on iPhones without Dynamic Island. After a longer break, tap Feed on the Lock Screen or use the widget to bring your resident back. Its saved state stays with you. Full character animations happen inside the app.
