Build is a chord ear-training game. Pure ear, no theory required. A root note settles in. Two or three tones bend in around it. You tap the scale degrees you think are playing, then submit when you've got it. The timer keeps track of your struggle.
Five rounds per run. Total time is your score.
TWO MODES
Hard mode: one wrong tap ends the round. A perfect run posts to the world leaderboard. Sub-second precision.
Soft mode: a 10-second penalty for a wrong tap instead of a round-end. Practice without pressure. Local-only - nothing leaves your device.
THREE DIFFICULTY LEVELS
Diff 1 - friendly intervals only.
Diff 2 - wider colour palette.
Diff 3 - anything goes.
Build your ear up one level at a time, or jump in at the deep end.
TWO- OR THREE-TONE CHORDS
Toggle between two-tone stacks (cleaner, faster) and three-tone voicings (thicker, harder to untangle). Same game, different depth.
DAILY CHALLENGE
Same five rounds for everyone, everywhere. Deterministic from the date. Land a clean run, post your time, race the world.
WORLD LEADERBOARD
Top 100 per tone-count and difficulty. Hard-mode perfect runs only. No accounts. Just a name and a time.
