Description
Jorpo is a dedicated yoga logging tool designed for practitioners who prefer focused, silent practice over following video tutorials. Unlike generic fitness trackers, it allows you to record specific pose durations, categorize sequences by style, and attach up to three progress photos per session to visually document your alignment. The app utilizes a coin-based system to expand your log capacity and unlock advanced tracking modules.
Users start with a base capacity of 15 practice sessions. You can use in-app coins to permanently expand your log storage, unlock flexibility and strength tracking modules, or access detailed statistical trends and data export features.
Many yogis struggle to see tangible progress because traditional apps focus on consuming content rather than recording personal milestones. Jorpo solves this by providing a structured database for your personal, off-screen practice. Instead of just marking a day as "done," you input the specific hold times for poses like Warrior II or Downward Dog, categorize them by difficulty, and note the physical sensations felt during the flow. This mechanism turns a fleeting workout into a permanent record of your body’s evolving capabilities, allowing you to filter sessions by type—such as Hatha, Vinyasa, or Yin—and review your history by location, whether at home, in a studio, or outdoors.
The app features specialized modules for flexibility and strength where you record specific metrics like fingertips-to-floor distance for forward folds or hold times for Chaturanga. By comparing current tests against historical entries, Jorpo generates progress charts that illustrate your gains in range of motion and core stability over months of practice. Photos are processed and stored locally on your device to maintain privacy while building your visual asana timeline.
