Jottings: Photo Diary

Jottings keeps each day with a photo and a few lines.

■ Just write
One simple screen with the date, your photos and your words. Everything saves as you type. Tap the Home Screen widget to start writing right away.

■ Draft from a photo
Pick a photo and tap "Draft from photo" — AI writes two or three sentences about what's in it. Already wrote something? It continues from there. It never invents people or events that aren't in your photo.

■ Polish your writing
Fix spelling and sentences, make it shorter, or give it a warmer tone. See the original and the result side by side, and apply only what you like.

■ On-device AI
AI runs on Apple Intelligence's on-device model. Your entries and photos are never sent to a server. (AI features are available on iPhones and languages that support Apple Intelligence.)

■ Your days at a glance
A timeline by date, a calendar filled with each day's photo, this week's progress and your streak, plus search.

■ Widgets
· Small: your streak and whether you wrote today — tap to write
· Medium: your latest entry with its photo
· Lock Screen widgets

■ Private by design
· Lock with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode (content is hidden in the app switcher and widgets too)
· iCloud sync to continue on a new device — stored only in your own iCloud
· No sign-up, no ads, no tracking

■ Daily reminder
A gentle reminder at your chosen time — skipped on days you've already written.
